Henry Sweets has been working in agricultural green spaces in New York City for six years. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Sewanee: The University of the South, and apprenticed at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture before moving to New York to become a farmer. After two seasons at Battery Urban Farm in Manhattan’s financial district he and his co-worker Ryan Watson founded North Brooklyn Farms, a business that converts vacant land into publicly accessible green spaces.
